I work in "Collections," so that I fully explore the particular color and concept of a group of paintings. As in the "Red Collection, Comin' In Hot," I am delving into a color I rarely use, red! I studied variations of reds, in all their glory, in broad painterly brush strokes. Currently, I am exploring the "Nantucket Collection." The paintings have a wispy, ethereal feeling. They are calm, and the colors of soft winds and squishy sand on your feet. Often, I will include image transfers of my photographs in my paintings. Nothing tells a better story than color, composition, and a peak into an Artist's creative photography.
